Here’s a little 2000pt army I wrote up and you guys can try it out. Its pretty Vicious.

TACTICS:
Deployment: Right off the bat spend the 1 CP to take the extra relic and give the sanguinary ancient the banner of sacrifice, that will keep you’re sanguinary guard kicking around for a long while. Next up while deploying you want to be aggressive with the scouts to prevent your opponent from pushing you back with his chaff screens and infiltrators, this boxes your opponent in right off the get go and they’ll be on the back foot for the first 2 turns, which are arguable the most important in the game currently. You’ll want to deploy all the jump pack units except the captain off the table, the jump pack means he doesn’t need to be in the thick of the action and can go where he needs to be, plus his character rule means your opponents extremely unlikely to shoot you off the table. Hunker the scouts down where you can and whether the storm if you go second, the boys in pants are expendable here.

Turn 1: Drop the army up in your opponents GRILL yo! Decide the key area you want to hit and the two supporting areas after that. Essentially pick a spot behind the enemy forces and meat plow until you get there. Cast unleash rage on your key unit of sanguinary guard and use quickening on the libby. The librarian will be your first charger, with quickening combined with angels wing it is highly likely you’ll make it to combat short of sucking at dice. Try and multi charge with him as much as possible to take full advantage of the angels wing no overwatch ability and protect your golden encrusted cod piece of justice that is about to follow. Next up you have the key unit of sanguinary guard using the Descent of Angels CP and get the 3D6 charge, you can burn an additional command point if your dice betray you here, you NEED this charge to go off. Follow this up with the other 2 support units of sanguinary guard and the Sanguinor, charging in, remember to keep as many of your models near Sanguinor and the Ancient to get their buffs. After you’ve laid the boots and cleared the LZ pop off the Honour of the Chapter CP and continue the carnage, remember you MUST declare a charge against the units you want to murder, it means you’ll take a lot of overwatch but for the most part you’ll be able to absorb it.

This should have your opponent reeling, the following turn charge your scouts in for support and/or grab objectives and the game should be in your favour.
